UAE stock markets close Tuesday with varied performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher at 3,506.38 points after gaining 8.10 points (0.23%).

A total of 159.47 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 349 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 85.77 million, while Amlak Finance dominated the trading volume with 22.93 million shares.

Al Firdous Holdings advanced the gainers with 14.49%, whereas Dar Al Takaful headed the losers with 5.27%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.08% to 9,646.47 points.

ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.22 billion through the exchange of 240.90 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.76 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 277.89 million, while ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 42.71 million shares.

The United Arab Bank (UAB) led the risers with 9.64%, whereas the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) was the top decliner with 9.70%.
