UAE stock markets close Tuesday's session in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session on a positive note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.63% to close Tuesday's session at 3,128.70 points.

A total of 84.36 million shares had been traded through 5,266 transactions valued at AED 233.53 million.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance Company (TAKAFUL-EM) led the rising stocks with 12.96%, while Emirates Refreshments Company (ERC) topped the losing stocks with 9.90%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.11% to settle at 9,171.35 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.17 billion after 171.95 million shares had been exchanged through 10,266 transactions.

Gulf Cement Company (GCEM) came on top of the green zone with 8.69%, while Ghitha Holding headed the red zone with 5.56%.
