UAE stock markets close Tuesday's session on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.49% to close Tuesday's session at 3,186.43 points.

A total of 80.46 million shares were traded through 4,917 transactions valued at AED 214.47 million.

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (DU) led the rising stocks with 6.94%, while Ekttitab Holding (EKTTITAB) topped the losing stocks with 5.88%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by 0.54% to settle at 9,249.71 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.18 billion after 150.50 million shares had been exchanged through 8,487 transactions.

Response Plus Holding came on top of the green zone with 6.41%, while National Marine Dredging Co (NMDC) headed the red zone with 5.36%.
