UAE stock markets close Wednesday in green zone

The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 1.66 points (0.04%) at 3,987.07 points. A total of 1.20 billion shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.19 billion. Union Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 644.70 million shares exchanged at AED 284.94 million. Al Firdous Holding topped the gainers with 14.98%, while Deyaar Development advanced the losers with 4.66%. Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.337% to 9,621.62 points. ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.24 billion through the exchange of 319.85 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.78 trillion. International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 211.01 million, whereas ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 54.59 million shares. Oman & Emirates Investment Holding Company (OEIHC) led the risers with 8.36%, while Union Insurance Company headed the decliners with 9.93%.
