UAE stock markets close Wednesday in green zone



UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 73.95 points (1.80%) on Wednesday, closing at 4,181.47 points.

A total of 273.43 million shares were traded at a turnover of AED 968.43 million.

Takaful Emarat advanced the risers with 14.88%, while National International Holding led the fallers with 10%.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), which announced the highest-ever recorded net profits in 2023, dominated the trading volume and value with 47.73 million shares and AED 299.32 million, respectively.

Likewise, the main index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.02% at 9,655.35 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.17 billion after 242 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit AED 2.94 trillion.

Commercial Bank International (CBI) topped the risers with 13.21%, while Emirates Driving Company led the fallers with 5.50%.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 200.25 million and Multiply Group was the most active stock with 31.29 million shares.
