UAE stock markets close Wednesday mixed

The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session lower by 6.52 points (0.16%) at 3,924.41 points. DFM’s turnover reached AED 552.35 billion through the exchange of 456.40 million shares. Ajman Bank generated the highest turnover with AED 129.24 million, whereas Union Properties dominated the trading volume with 166.16 million shares. Orascom Construction topped the gainers with 9.86%, while Al Firdous Holding headed the losers with 9.97%. On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.375% to 9,618.81 points. A total of 387.35 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.30 billion, while the market cap value hit AED 2.78 trillion. International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 206.36 million, whereas ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) was the most active stock with 50.94 million shares. Apex Investment led the risers with 14.59%, while Aram Group was the top faller with 9.77%.
