UAE stock markets close Wednesday mixed



UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 8.30 points (0.20%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 4,090.64 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 331.86 million through the exchange of 112.36 million shares.

Emaar Properties registered the highest turnover of AED 80.84 million, whereas Union Properties was the most active stock with 17.90 million shares.

Watania International Holding led the risers with 4.51%, while BHM Capital headed the decliners with 7.40%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session lower by 0.38% at 9,724.26 points.

A total of 238.63 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.15 billion, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.96 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 210.63 million, while RAK Properties dominated the trading volume with 40.90 million shares.

Al Khaleej Investment topped the gainers with 14.83%, whereas the Commercial Bank International (CBI) headed the fallers with 10%.
