UAE stock markets close Wednesday’s session in green

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 19.57 points (0.59%) and ended Wednesday’s trading session at 3,323.96 points.

A total of 392.57 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 781.73 million.

Ajman Bank, which dominated the trading volume with 117.12 million shares, advanced the gainers with 12.70%. Meanwhile, Shuaa Capital headed the decliners with 8.87%.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 238.45 million.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session higher by 1.703% at 10,545.39 points.

The turnover reached AED 4.13 billion after 734.43 million shares were traded during the session, while the market cap value totalled AED 2.66 trillion.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) was the top faller with 10%, while ADC Acquisition Corporation led the risers with 14.71%.

Multiply Group was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 304.76 million shares exchanged at AED 1.47 billion.
