UAE stock markets close Wednesday’s session lower



UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session lower by 27.09 points (0.67%) at 3,959.80 points.

A total of 1.16 billion shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 723.24 million.

Drake and Scull International (DSI), which led the gainers with 24%, was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 491.37 million shares exchanged at AED 153.42 million.

Agility Public Warehousing headed the decliners with 9.87%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.358% to 8,710.96 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.11 billion through the exchange of 254.65 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.66 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 191.56 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 27.30 million shares.

Hayah Insurance Company topped the gainers with 6.36%, while Phoenix Group led the fallers with 7.41%.
