UAE stock markets end Tuesday’s session on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Tuesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by around 2% or 49.74 points to settle at 2,532.40 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session, keeping its positive performance for four consecutive sessions.

 A total of 521.57 million shares were traded through 6,857 transactions valued at AED 543.54 million.

The market cap value rose by AED 3.62 billion to AED 345.31 billion, compared to AED 341.69 billion during the previous session.

Damac Properties led the rising stocks with 12.70%, while ENBD REIT came on top of the losing stocks with 2.50%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up by around 0.4% or 19.96 points to close Tuesday's session at 5,062.38 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 603.92 million after 198.66 million shares had been exchanged through 3,567 transactions.

The market cap value jumped by AED 2.91 billion to AED 735.03 billion, compared to AED 732.12 billion during the previous session.

Arkan Building Materials topped the green zone with 8.59%, while Gulf Cement Co (GCEM) headed the red zone
