UAE stock markets end Wednesday’s trading session higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 0.73 points (0.02%) on Wednesday and closed the trading session on a positive note at 3,385.07 points.

A total of 125.37 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 234.62 million.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance was the top gainer with 9.39%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) headed the losers with 8.33%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 76.67 million, whereas Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) dominated the trading volume with 50.48 million shares.

Similarly, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.182% to 10,589.23 points. The market cap stood at AED 2.56 trillion.

The turnover amounted to AED 1.53 billion through the exchange of 348.19 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) led the fallers with 9.94, while Union Insurance Company advanced the risers with 14%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 244.78 million, whereas Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 81.85 million shares were traded.
