UAE stock markets show mixed performance on Wednesday



UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 4.40 points (0.10%) at 4,277.36 points.

A total of 146.60 million shares were exchanged during the session for AED 340.22 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 73.18 million.

Mashreq Bank advanced the gainers with 3.03%.

Takaful Emarat, which headed the losers with 9.92%, was the most active stock with 28.21 million shares.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.107% to 9,400.28 points.

The turnover hit AED 1.02 billion after 421.72 million shares were exchanged, whereas the market cap value reached AED 2.87 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 216.13 million.

Eshraq Investments, which dominated the trading volume with 164.42 million shares, topped the risers with 7.45%,

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company led the fallers with 9.30%.
