Bahrain Association of Banks holds general assembly

The Bahrain Association of Banks held its regular general assembly, during which members approved the association’s literal and financial reports for the year 2021, and the association’s auditors were also reappointed for the year 2022. The attendees praised the Central Bank of Bahrain’s support for the Association’s work and achieving its goals by promoting the banking sector, noting the Association’s comprehensive collaboration with the CBB in formulating the new financial sector development strategy, coordinating banking-related legislation, and launching several programs and forums. This includes the FinHub973 forum and a collaboration with the University of Bahrain to train students, as well as a program to enhance the volume of funding offered to SMEs. Mr. Adnan Yousif, the Association’s Chairman, commended the Association’s high standing and significant developmental role, which was demonstrated last year by countless major achievements on various levels, commending CBB eagerness to support the association.
