Bahrain-based fintech Receiptable has raised a pre-Seed round for an unknown amount, led by HP Spring Studios, a venture fund that is backed by both the Al Waha Fund of Funds and the Hambro Perks.

Founded in 2022 by Chris Purdie, Receiptable bridges the data gap between banks and retailers through digital receipts consumers can receive on their mobile phones.

Receiptable plans to use the funds to recruit talent, build its platform, and launch with its first partner bank in Bahrain.
