24.1% tax revenue increase without new taxes – EgyptToday – Egypt Today

CAIRO - 9 May 2024: Tax revenues as of the end March grew by 24.1%, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait told the House of Representatives Wednesday.

 

The minister said the significant increase is a result of tax reform efforts, including mechanization and the elimination of tax evasion.

 

Maait emphasized that the new figure comes without imposing any new tax.
