Plastic Bank appoints Ahmed Abd ElAleem as new regional head

Cairo: Plastic Bank, the world’s leading for-profit social enterprise that builds recycling ecosystems in under-developed communities in an effort to fight plastic pollution in seas and rivers, announced the appointment of Eng. Ahmed Abd ElAleem as the new Regional Head of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Plastic Bank.

Armed with over 15 years of experience in supply chain and sourcing activities, Ahmed has built capacities and developed different types of alternative fuels and logistics for various national and international organizations. His post-grad qualification in supply chain management (SCMG) and Mechatronics Engineering degree as well as his Production Mechanical Engineering degree, have also well-equipped him with the knowledge and skills to excel in his field.

In his role, Abd ElAleem will continue building a circular economy that is beneficial for people and the planet while supporting the overall corporate strategy of Plastic Bank. Through shared values with Plastic Bank, Abd ElAleem aims to empower communities and enable them to exchange waste for money, goods, or services.
