PM praises journalism as profession, journalists, Egyptian Journalists Syndicate – Egypt Today

CAIRO – 23 May 2024: Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli praised on Thursday journalism as a profession, voicing appreciation of the role played by journalists and the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate (EJS) to serve national interests.

In his meeting with head of the EJS Khaled el Balshy, the premier also lauded Egyptian journalism’s role in enhancing and spreading awareness and information as well as backing national causes and issues.

He noted that the government is working on supporting journalists to be able to carry out their duties properly and with professionalism.

He underlined the importance of developing the journalistic work and keeping pace with the latest technological advances and trends in journalism.
