West Bank holiday announcement unrelated to Jordan, Roya clarifies – Roya News English
The Jordanian news website, Roya, clarified that working hours will be observed in all public and private institutions, companies, and departments across all provinces of Jordan on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. It states that the circulated post regarding a holiday only pertains to the West Bank.
The Palestinian Teachers' Union, in coordination with the Palestinian Ministry of Education, announced earlier the suspension of classes on Wednesday, November 1, in all schools and directorates of education in the West Bank.
Additionally, the Fatah movement in the West Bank declared Wednesday to be a day of anger and a comprehensive strike across all institutions.
