Gulf Bank promotes Al-Adsani as GM of Corporate Banking

KUWAIT: Gulf Bank has promoted Faisal Abdulwahab Al-Adsani to become the General Manager of Corporate Banking, following the approval from the Central Bank of Kuwait. This is part of bank’s policy to empower Kuwaiti nationals to advance and obtain leadership positions, which is an essential part of Gulf Bank’s 2025 strategy. Al-Adsani was the Deputy General Manager of Corporate Banking from 2021 to 2023, before assuming the position of Acting General Manager for several months, prior to obtaining the approval of the Central Bank of Kuwait to assume the position officially.

Al-Adsani has extensive banking experience of about 19 years, during which he held many positions and responsibilities at Gulf Bank. He joined the Bank back in 2004, where he progressed in various positions, and was eventually promoted to Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Banking in 2019, overlooking Multinational Corporations and Oil & Gas Department, catering to domestic and overseas multinational corporates, international lending, and syndications.
