Central Bank issues circular on gradual withdrawal of deposits in foreign currencies
NNA - The Central Bank (BDL) issued Tuesday circular no. 158 relevant to the exceptional measures for the gradual withdrawal of deposits in foreign currencies, attached to basic decision no. 13335/2021.
Under the said decision, each bank operating in Lebanon shall do what is deemed necessary for the gradual repayment of deposits in foreign currencies for accounts opened before 31/10/2019.
