Amazon Payment Services expands presence in Oman via OmanNet

Amazon Payment Services has expanded its services to Oman through a collaboration with the OmanNet payment solution.

Amazon Payment Services’ merchants can now accept online payments from all locally-issued debit cards in Oman to expand their reach and attract customers in the Sultanate, while continuing to be able to accept payments from other major globally-issued cards.

OmanNet, powered by the Central Bank of Oman, is a safe, convenient, and reliable payment solution allowing shoppers in the country to conveniently pay with their debit card.

The launch reinforces Amazon Payment Services’ commitment to strategic forward-thinking to help merchants prepare for the future.
