For the second time in a row, Moody’s upgrades Oman’s rating to Ba1 with a positive outlook 

The change reflects the improvements in the country’s debt burden and debt affordability metrics.

The post For the second time in a row, Moody’s upgrades Oman’s rating to Ba1 with a positive outlook  appeared first on The Arabian Stories News.MUSCAT : Moody’s credit rating agency on Thursday issued its credit rating report for the Sultanate of Oman, in which it raised the country’s financial status to Ba1 for the second time in a row this year with a stable outlook.

?”The agency attributed this development in the classification to its expectations of a continued decline in public debt and improved indicators of the government’s ability to bear the burden of the state’s public debt, as a result of the efforts made by the government in exploiting additional revenues to pay off the public debt, in addition to controlling spending and improving financial revenues,” the statement from Oman News Agency added.
