Muscat – The Oman British Friendship Society (OBFA) held its annual reception in London on Saturday in the presence of a number of officials and businessmen from the sultanate and the United Kingdom.

Oman’s delegation was led by H E Said bin Hamoud al Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, who focused on Oman’s logistics sector as an enabler for rapid growth in the sultanate.

The meeting reviewed the available opportunities in the fields of transport, aviation, logistics, communications and information technology, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and trade exchange between Oman and the UK by finding investment opportunities.
