The post Oman’s public, private sectors allow work beyond retirement age: Labour Minister appeared first on The Arabian Stories News.Muscat – Speaking at the ‘Together We Progress’ forum, His Excellency stated that the Ministry is trying to find new employment solutions by putting pressure on companies to accommodate more Omanis.In replies to media queries, he explained that the Ministry issues around 200,000 to 300,000 permits annually for the labour market in the Sultanate of Oman, and pointed out that difference in remunerations between expatriates and Omanis depends on capabilities, supply and demand.Further, clarifying certain reports in the media that the labour market does not generate opportunities for female graduates, and in response to a query posed by a local news agency on the same, the Minister categorically stated that the Labour Ministry denies that report. He confirmed that the labour market does generate opportunities for women; however, the need of the hour is an economic market that provides quality jobs and depends on diversity for growth, he added.“There is currently a problem in matching educational
