Qatar First Bank issues commercial registration with new name – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar First Bank LLC (Public) announced that it has obtained the required approvals from the regulatory authorities to change its name and logo.

Accordingly, the commercial registration and the articles of association of the bank were amended to reflect the banks new name, "Lesha Bank L.L.C (Public) ".

A statement issued by the bank, published Sunday on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, said that the banks trade name and logo will officially be changed in the market in the next few days.

The net profit of Qatar First Bank increased by 2.55% in the first half of 2022, to reach QR 42.047 million, compared to QR 40.999 million in the same period last year.

On Aug. 1, the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of Qatar First Bank approved all the items on the agenda, changing the name of the bank to "Lesha Bank" and authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Directors to take all necessary actions related to the Bank's new name and make any necessary adjustments to the new name, logo, trademark, domain, website, or emails of the Bank, as well as the names of the Bank's subsidiaries.
