Qatar pens deal on avoidance of double taxation with Estonia

The agreement was signed by HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al […]The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and the Republic of Estonia, represented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Information Technology, have signed an agreement in order to avoid double taxation and prevent financial evasion regarding income taxes.

The agreement was signed by HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, and HE Minister of Economy and Information Technology in Estonia, Tiit Riisalo.

Stressing the importance of the agreement, HE the Minister of Finance said that “it would contribute to supporting international standards of transparency through the exchange of documented financial information, noting that it comes in light of strengthening bilateral economic relations between the two countries.”

The agreement aims to conclude tax agreements that eliminate all forms of double taxation between the two countries.
