‎Learn about most important details of Riyadh Expo 2030

The BIE delegation recently concluded its visit to Riyadh, during which it discussed the Kingdom's bid to host World Expo 2030.

Riyadh Expo 2030 is scheduled to be hosted from Oct. 1, 2030 to April 1, 2031 on a six million square meters (sqm) site in the north of Riyadh, approximately five to 10 minutes’ drive from King Khalid International Airport and close to King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center.

According to Riyadh Expo 2030 report, the site includes 3.38 million sqm of pilot space within a gated area, nearly 432,000 sqm for national pavilions and 2.62 million sqm for facilities support (logistics and transportation/parking).

Designed as a futuristic city, the site will be located around an old valley, combining the oasis and garden concepts of Riyadh and reflecting the Kingdom's vision to pioneer a sustainable future for cities and their communities.

Expo 2030's main theme will be “Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow”, which invites everyone to join together with courage and innovation to change the course of the planet's future towards a better tomorrow.
