Pakistan, UAE to finalise CEPA soon – GulfToday – Gulf Today

Dubai: Pakistan and UAE enjoy historic relations as both countries are on course to finalise procedures related to their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) soon.
This was stated by Pakistan Ambassador to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi at the ‘Guest in Town’ programme hosted by Pakistan Journalist Forum (PJF) at the Pakistan Association Dubai.
The event was attended by Press Counsellor, Shazia Siraj, Tahir Munir Tahir, President PJF, Sadia Abbassi, Senior Vice-President PJF, Muzaffar Rizvi, Vice President PJF, executive body members of PJF and over a dozen of Pakistani senior journalists based in the UAE.
The Ambassador confirmed that Pakistan has started negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with the UAE and hoped to have significant progress with in few months.
