UAE job market continues to show steady growth in second quarter – Gulf Today

Dubai: The UAE’s economy is growing rapidly and creating new jobs opportunities in different sectors for local as well as global talent.

Rabea Ataya, Founder and CEO of Bayt.com told to Gulf Today, “the UAE job market continues to show steady growth in Q2 of 2024, building on the momentum from the first quarter and reflecting a solid and consistent increase in job opportunities.”

He added,  “Overall, this quarter shows healthier dynamics when compared to Q2 of the previous year, with expectations for continued expansion.”

About the major changes in the UAE job market, Ataya explained, “The UAE job market is dynamic, with significant growth in real estate and a booming marketing sector appealing to fresh graduates, national talent, and female professionals.”

He added, “The Emiratisation movement is reshaping the market by encouraging the hiring of Emirati nationals in the private sector. Most job openings are for executive and entry-level positions, with an emerging focus on higher-level opportunities for UAE nationals.
