Bahrain: MP calls to ban drinks introduced for breastfeeding children

A parliamentarian yesterday called on the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Ministry of Health to take immediate actions against drinks introduced for breastfeeding children.MP Ahmed Al-Ansari termed such practices as “contradictory to the values of the Bahraini society”, in addition to causing severe health issues, especially in light of the deadly Covid-19 outbreak.
