Bahrain Specialist Hospital launches Diabetes Care Center

Bahrain Specialist Hospital, one of the leading private centers, on the occasion of World Diabetes Day announces the launch of the Diabetes Care Center under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health to cater for the growing needs of diabetes care in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The center’s mission is to provide comprehensive and complete care to the patients with diabetes under one roof. According to the Ministry of Health, the Kingdom is considered one of the countries most affected by diabetes where the incidence of diabetes is 16.3% of the adult population in the age group between 20 – 79; an age group that is considered to be the most important for social and economic productivity.
