Bahrain’s quick Covid response documented in WHO case study – The National
Bahrain’s early response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been documented in a World Health Organisation (WHO) case study.
The case study looks at how Bahrain managed to overcome challenges through readiness and early response, WHO said, as the pandemic took hold around the world.
It praises the country for forming a national taskforce in February 2020 — three weeks before its first case was reported. An around-the-clock “war room” was also formed.
