NBB Multiple Sclerosis Centre: A Model for Social Responsibility | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

The National Health Plan’s (2015-2026) commitment to improving public health took a major step forward with the inauguration of the new NBB Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Centre in Muharraq.
It was officially opened with a ceremony led by Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, and Hala Yateem, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of NBB.
Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, emphasized the significance of the centre, calling it “a prime example of a successful partnership between the public and private sectors.”
He highlighted the unwavering support for public healthcare from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The opening ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Governmental Hospitals, who commended the Ministry of Works’ collaboration in designing the center with the highest standards.
Hala Yateem, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of NBB, expressed her honor to be part of this initiative.
