NHRA conference recommend workshops on health licenses

Participants of the second conference of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), conclusively recommended the holding of periodic workshops for employees, authorities and investors working in and around the health and medical sector within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The aim of the conference was to discuss ways of enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of the health system in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Additionally, the conference had a more specific focus upon ensuring the continued exchange of ideas concerning developmental goals in the sector, with an emphasis upon the field of medical licenses and their requirements. At the end of the three-day conference held by NHRA, the participants acknowledged the need for these workshops as a conduit for addressing important topics such as medical errors (and the procedures for investigating them), procedures for registering and licensing medicines (and medical supplies) and perennial medical training. The participants emphasised the need to hold the conference every year as a forum that enables networking with government officials in the health sector and engenders discussion regarding the most recent advancements (and challenges) in this area.
