RCSI Bahrain Certified as “Healthy University” by WHO EMRO

Professor Sameer Otoom, President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) was honoured to receive the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (WHO EMRO) “Healthy University” certification from Dr Ahmed Salim Al-Mandhari, WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, at an event held today in the presence of Her Excellency Dr Jaleela bint AlSayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, Her Excellency Dr Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairperson of the Higher Education Council Board of Trustees, and senior executive members of RCSI Bahrain.
