SCH Chairman opens Manama Health Conference and Expo | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

The chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, opened the Manama Health Conference and Expo 2023.
The conference hosted the Arab-German Health Forum in the presence of Health Minister H.E. Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan. The forum discussed the application of health insurance, technological advancements in the health sector, as well as investment and financing options.
Shaikh Mohammed stressed the importance of exchanging expertise with international health specialists to establish competencies and enhance the health system’s sustainability and effectiveness.
He noted that the conference and exhibition bring together a distinguished group of international healthcare and supply companies, and it is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest technological advances. Among the topics are artificial intelligence, robotic surgery, genomics, cardiology, and cosmetics.

Dr. Al Sayed said that Manama Health 2023 contributes significantly to improving the quality of medical care and strengthening cooperation across health sectors.
She emphasised the importance of hosting these events for the exchange of expertise with various international companies in the healthcare sector to improve the quality of services and enhance their sustainability.
