Striving to have King Abdullah Medical City among Health Insurance system in Bahrain


The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) President Dr Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al Ohaly underlined that the construction of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City is progressing as planned with the project is expected to complete by the end of December, 2021.

“Despite the challenges we are facing due to the spread of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic which have certainly affected the progress of the construction works, AGU is working hand-by-hand with the contractor to sketch a plan B to complete it on time. Meanwhile, we are tirelessly working to be ready for operating the City and put the recruitment plans as we want to attract unique human resources,” the president said after touring the project site to view the progress of the construction.

He further added: “We are striving to have the city added among Bahrain’s health insurance system for three reasons; firstly, to achieve the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques  the late King Abdullah bin more...
