Dettol First to Prove Efficacy Against Covid-19 Combats the 2nd Wave By Providing University Hospitals with Necessary Protection

Dettol Egypt's role in limiting the spread of the virus during the second wave







Being scientifically-proven efficacy against Covid-19 and in light of Dettol Egypt's keen interest in limiting the spread of the virus during the second wave, Dettol sought to resume its conscientious prevention endeavors via collaborating with the Supreme Council of University Hospitals (SCUH).

In line with this collaboration, Dettol Egypt has allocated about EGP 1m for procuring thousands of medical masks to governmental hospitals. The donations are meant to enhance the designated hospitals' safety & prevention standards and to avail the necessary protection to the healthcare providers.

In this regard, Mr. Om Prakash - General Manager of Dettol Egypt, commented: “Ever since the pandemic outbreak, Dettol Egypt has dedicated plentiful resources and initiated social services toward reinforcing the preventive measures taken by the governmental hospitals. Our collaboration with the (SCUH) aims at protecting Egypt's
