GCC Covid-19 update: UAE registers 644 cases; 781 infections recorded in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health and Prevention has registered a total of 644 Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours.

The new cases were detected as an extension of 71,334 examinations conducted to screen for the virus.

The total number of infections in the country has risen to 75,098.

With 410 additional recoveries, the total number of patients who have overcome the infection tally 66,943.

The ministry also confirmed one fatality, raising the death toll to 391.

The Ministry of Health recorded 781 new infections, 623 recoveries and 30 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The city of Jeddah recorded 62 cases, followed by Makkah (58) and Medina (51).
