Hayajneh on coronavirus: ‘We succeeded in some things and failed in others’ – Roya News English

The coordinator of the conference "The Kingdom's Experience in Confronting the Corona Pandemic", Dr. Wael Al-Hayajneh, said that what distinguished the Jordanian experience in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic was the methodology, institutional and partnership between the concerned authorities.

Al-Hayajneh added to Roya Saturday, "The decisions that were taken during the pandemic, including the decision to close early, were scientific and intentional, so that attention was initially given to the health aspect because the lives and safety of citizens is a top priority, and then taking into account the economic aspect of them."

Al-Hayajneh said: "We succeeded in some things and failed in others, like the rest of the world, but we were able, through this experience, to build and develop our health capabilities and alert us to gaps that were not known to us."
