Khasawneh warns of uptick in COVID-19 cases – Roya News English

The Prime Minister, Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, Wednesday warned of the repercussions of the uptick in numbers of infections, deaths and hospitalizations with the coronavirus in recent days. 

The Prime Minister, while chairing a meeting of the Supreme Framework Committee to deal with the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, which was held in the Prime Ministry, stressed that this escalation in the rates of cases requires caution so that we do not stray from the strategic goal to continue to cross into a safe summer in which all sectors are opened by September.

The Prime Minister also confirmed that the government is proceeding with its plans and commitments to return face-to-face education in schools during the month of September and in universities at the beginning of October and within the public health requirements.
