King Salman directs KSrelief to help Jordan’s health ministry address oxygen shortage

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has directed the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Saudi Arabia's charity arm, to help Jordan's health ministry meet its acute shortage of medical oxygen and other requirements due to the coronavirus pandemic.Under the King's directive, KSrelief will support the Jordanian health ministry with liquid oxygen, oxygen cylinders, and regulators, in addition to IV infusion pumps and any other needed related devices and supplies, officials said. The royal gesture reflects strong ties binding the two countries on one hand, and the humanitarian role that Saudi Arabia plays toward brotherly and friendly countries on the other. It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of the pandemic, KSrelief has coordinated with the Jordanian health ministry to identify supply gaps, including medical oxygen, in order to bridge them.
