CSC lifts ban on hiring expats for 773 jobs in Ministry of Health – Arab Times Kuwait News

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has lifted the ban on hiring non-Kuwaitis for 773 vacancies in the Ministry of Health, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily obtained a copy of the CSC’s letter to the ministry; stating that the ban was applied on 46 slots for doctors, 708 for nursing staff, 13 for technicians and six for pharmacists.
The CSC instructed the Health Ministry not to fill up these positions until the end of the legal period for paying the leave balance of the outgoing staff. It added the Ministry of Finance should not remove these job slots from the budget of the Ministry of Health for the next fiscal year.
