KUNA : Kuwaiti Min. calls for closer GCC cooperation to boost health systems – Health – 21/10/2021 – Kuwait News Agency

MANAMA, Oct 21 (KUNA) - Kuwait Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah stressed the importance of coordination between the GCC countries and enhancing the capabilities of health systems, especially to confront the COVID-19 challenges. This came in a statement by the minister to KUNA Thursday, on the sidelines of his participation in the seventh meeting of the GCC Health Ministers Committee and the 84th meeting of the GCC Health Ministers Council, which started in Bahrain. The minister thanked the government and people of Bahrain for hosting the 84th meeting, which discussed important files regarding the health systems in the GCC. (end) hmd. aa
