WASHIGNTON, Oct 20 (KUNA) - The White House announced Wednesday that it awaits authorization from Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) to begin administrating Covid-19 vaccinations to children aged between 5-11. In a statement, the White House detailed that the Biden presidency has secured enough vaccines for 28 million children, and is planning to ensure that the vaccine is quickly distributed and made conveniently and equitably available to families across the country. It also stated that it will be relying on pediatricians, children's hospitals, schools and pharmacies to inoculate the children. The FDA's independent advisory committee is scheduled to meet on October 26 and the CDC's independent advisory committee will be meeting on November 2-3. (end) Rsr. aai
