Kuwait, Jan. 25, 2021, SPA -- Kuwait ministry of health announced that 492 new coronavirus cases have been reported during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 161777.

Two deaths were recorded meanwhile, bringing the total number of deaths to 954, the report said, adding that 513 new recoveries were discharged from hospitals, raising the total number of recoverees to 154766.

Official Spokesperson of the ministry Dr. Abdullah Al-Sind said that the number of cases receiving medical care in ICU reached 51 cases, bringing the total number of cases that were confirmed to have contracted the disease and still undergoing treatment are 6057.
