Kuwait records 1,646 new coronavirus cases

Kuwait confirmed 1646  new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total caseload to 334,216.   

The Ministry of Health said that 5 virus infected patients had passed away, bringing the death toll to 1,842 since the outbreak of the pandemic.   

Ministry's spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 1,427 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 315,645.
