Household Income and Expenditure Survey issues data

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: Data issued by the Household Income and Expenditure Survey issued by the Central Administration of Statistics, shows the average Kuwaiti family spends on welfare and entertainment about 1,625 dinars per month, which constitutes about 49% of household spending per month, without counting the monthly rent of Kuwaiti families who own their homes out of a total expenditure of 3296.6 dinars, compared to about 357 dinars spent by each expatriate family, which constitutes 33.4% of their monthly expenditure, which amounts to 1071.3 dinars on the same expenditures that include personal care, restaurants, entertainment, sports, transportation, clothing, fabrics, shoes, tobacco and its products, reports Al-Anba daily.
