EU removes US from list of coronavirus-safe countries – Roya News English

The European Union Monday recommended that the 27 member states of the bloc re-impose Covid-related travel restrictions on American tourists due to fears of a rise in infections with the coronavirus.

The European Council announced the removal of six countries from the list of countries exempted from restrictions for non-essential travel during the epidemic.

"Israel, Kosovo, Lebanon, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia and the United States of America have been removed from the list," a statement issued by the council said.
