Minister of Health issues decision setting USD rate for unsubsidized medicines at 80% of market exchange rate
NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hamad Hassan, on Thursday held a meeting during which he announced the final formula that has been decided upon with regard to unsubsidized medicines.
Accordingly, Hassan issued a decision setting the USD exchange rate for unsubsidized medicines at 80% of the market exchange rate in Lebanon for a period not exceeding the end of this year (31 -12-2021).
Minister Hassan stressed the need to adhere to the agreed-upon formula, which he described as fair.
